We invite you to join us in building a sustainable local food system among the prairies and badlands of Eastern Montana and Western North Dakota.
Current Farm-To-Table projects include compiling a Local Buyers Guide to help you find local food in our region (or, if you are a grower or producer, to help customers find you), forming the Farm-to-Table Co-op, an ag marketing co-op that will market member's produce and products to local stores, restaurants, and food services, etc, and Western Trails Food, a value added food business featuring hulless barley in pancake and soup mixes. We offer services including custom label printing (small quanities) and co-packing for grains, beans and other dry goods.
We have also been assisting Dawson Community College in their planning process for a Culinary Arts program that would train chefs to work with local growers and producers, and we are working on developing plans for a shared use Commercial Kitchen that will increase opportunities for value-added food production in our region.
